Quit! The Psychology of Substitution

I am combating choco-holism as I write this post.  It plagues me as a sit in front of the computer.   It is not a matter of keeping my mind off of chocolate; I do a lot of thinking when developing programs, writing articles, etc.  Certainly, my neurons are occupied with subjects more profound but my thoughts always circle back to chocolate.

Now, if my hands are busy in the garden or fixing something around the house, my thoughts stay in place; there is no longing for a fix.  But, as soon as I sit down again, chocolate invades my mind.

I am not really too surprised that I have this problem because I quit smoking.  I gave up one vice only to substitute it with another.  So, if I give up chocolate, what other vice will befall me?
