Lost Photography!

They wandered about the Internet looking for a place to live.   Their aimless footsteps clanged against digital walls in search of nails to hang their frames on...until now!

I maintained a digital presence for years and lost track of my online photos.  I recently went looking for them.  Here are a few (complete with advertising):

SuperFoto Practica
This is a Spanish photography magazine.  I was one of the featured photographers in an issue in February 2001.

These are some of my favorite photos.  I was able to get the right models, access to the school studio and input on the lighting.
·        (Left)  The dancer was a fellow student at the photography school.  Working with her on another project, I realized that she moved very gracefully and ‘coordinatedly’ (to coin a word).  Her understanding of the photographic process made her a wonderful model for this shoot.
·        (Bottom right)  The musician was a young man from Peru whom I had spotted playing South American tunes on unique instruments with a group in Retiro Park in Madrid.

Fiesta!
Every town in Spain throws a town fair.  These cost a lot of money to put together so I donated some of my photos to Titulcia for the brochure.

In order of appearance on the page:
·        (Front cover)  The statue of the Virgen Mary & the baby Jesus.
·        (Back cover)  The painting in the church (school of El Greco)
·        (Next pages)  The town hall & the statue
·        (Next pages)  A view of the bridges over the Jarama river from the cliff & the church side altar.
·        (Next page)  The town square on Children’s Day
·        (Next pages)  The floral background
·        (Next pages)  The sunflower background & photos about town (the flower is a Thistle)

I will create a new post when I find more!
